Right, you just reminded me why this game is not as good as first one. Aside from those weird graphics (which are pretty, but just don't feel right for the game named Darkness, especially after first game...) seeing those names for different kills pop up a la Bulletstorm is sort of annoying and imersion breaking... Wish this was optional or at least included as different mode...
Will still get it, but way later this year |

Cool, but I'm not sure if this game will hold up to the first. The first never really called for a sequel, and ended SPOILER POSSIBLY with the implication that the entire game was a groundhog day like loop, where Jackie keeps going over the memory of how he ruined his soul by ignoring any chance for forgiveness and redemption and how lost his girlfriend due to his own faults, and that the rest of his life was controlled by the Darkness. I never really saw why a sequel was needed.
It will be interesting to see what they've done with the game. Gameplay looks fun. |

| I too preferred the realistic look of the first to the wacky arcade look of the second.. The game is still fun as hell though! |

| Sucks that they took out up close gun executions from the first game. They were awesome. Theese new ones are ok but lack variety and are just random. |

| I agree with #8...those up close executions are fun as hell. I am about 60% through the first one right now, and it is awesome. Too many f*cking load times though. |
